Massive Creature Overhaul

​Creatures are a huge part of Looking Grimm. However, the way the creatures are currently programmed in the game is poorly implemented. Creatures are too difficult to manage individually, making it difficult for me to implement certain features or create new creatures. For example, I want to add dungeons to the game, but creatures at different heights will have to deal with wall and obstacle collisions, which would have to be implemented individually. I also want to add an option to recruit creatures to fight with you, but I would have to create new interactions for each enemy individually in order to implement it. Because I want to add over 100 creatures to the game, and I want all creatures to be consistent and compatible with various features, I need to create a system that is easier to implement.



This will involve a massive overhaul of all the creatures currently in the game. The end result will allow me to create many more creatures, give me more freedom to implement new features, and the program will run a lot more smoothly as well. I also am going to be very busy during the next few weeks with other things as well. I will try to be as efficient as possible, but this may cause a delay in my schedule. I promise, the end result will be well worth it. In the meantime, please enjoy the current build of the game
